Our Emblem

This emblem highlights our shared focus on studying the history and current issues specific to the Global South, guiding us as we work together to create a story of the Anthropocene that’s sustainable and inclusive. It’s the symbol of our scientific project, showing a globe with the Global South united in the Pangea formation. This emblem shows our dedication to making sure the perspectives of the Global South are at the heart of discussions about the Anthropocene. By using Pangea to represent unity, the logo shows how countries in the Global South are coming together to tackle the challenges posed by this epoch.
